| GALLIUM
designs rolls on CAD stations with preferably edge
and 'W' formation considering strain factors. The
profiles are generated by special software (COPRA)
and strip strain analysis is done to avoid any overloading
at any stage during forming. Optimum strip width
is calculated through the software to increase material
yeildin strip processing line and to inprove weld
quallity of tube. |

| Forged
Alloy Tool Steels are used as roll material and
are selectedin accordance with end use and functional
requirements.Before processing the material is tested
for soundness, chemical composition, grain size,
carbide distribution, hardenability and inclusion
ratings. Most modern methods of Ultrasonic testing,
spectrum analysis and vedio image analysis are employed
to confirm to GALLIUM stringent standards
of quallity. |

| Close
tolorance are being maintained from the very
first processing stage using CNC Turning centers,
CNC Vertical machining centers and gighly
sophisticated bore grinder. Latest DNC system
with appropriate softwre is used to avoid
human error in machine programming. |

| Dimensional
accuracies are maintained insuch a way that
the parallelism between bore and profile
and perpendicularity between the face and
profile are within close tolerance to improve
quality of end product. |

| Rolls
are heat treated adopting a special
process to achieve isotropic structure
for maximum wear resistance properties
and sufficient toughness to withstand
high working loads. It also allows maximum
number of regenerations without loosing
much of wear resistant properties. Special
care is taken to remove high points
to reduce friction. |

| Each
and every roll is inspected between processing
by using sophisticated equipment, for dimensions,
surface texture and micro structures. |
